Documentation

How to install, chart, trade and get help with TMR Terminal for Windows.

Charts and layouts

Layouts, tabs and linking, chart types, settings and snapshots.

Layouts and tabs

  • Layouts: split the screen into as many as 16 charts with the layout picker. Layouts save themselves; name the ones you want to come back to.
  • Tabs: keep several workspaces open as tabs. A new tab can be a blank page or a tool, and a tab dragged off the strip gets a window of its own.
  • Linking: link tabs so that changing the market, timeframe, scroll position or date range on one changes the others.
  • One chart at a time: Alt+click a chart to show it alone, and press Esc to show all charts again.

Chart types

There are 21 chart types, from candles, bars and lines to Heikin Ashi, Renko and more. Choose one from the chart-type menu in the top bar.

Chart settings

The gear opens Chart settings: colours, lines, scales, the status line, sessions and more. Each setting previews as you change it and each row can be reset on its own. Save a set of settings as a template to reuse it on other charts.

Scales and time

  • Drag the price scale to stretch it; the chart fits itself again when you return to automatic scaling.
  • Use the date picker to jump to a date or show a range.
  • Futures charts can show the full session or regular hours only.

Pictures and snapshots

Save a picture of the active chart from the top bar, or share a snapshot link. Anyone with a snapshot link can see it, so check it shows nothing private, such as an account number. Snapshots are kept for 180 days.
