Alerts and journal
Price alerts, notifications and sounds, and reviewing your trades.
Alerts
Right-click a price on a chart, press Alt+A, or open the alerts panel to add an alert. Drag an alert line to move it, and click it to edit it.
- Alerts show as a notice in the terminal and as a Windows notification, even with the app minimised or in the tray.
- Choose a sound for each kind of event, use your own sound files, or have the terminal read the alert aloud.
- The alert log keeps what fired; clear it whenever you like.
- Alerts and their log are stored on your PC.
Alerts only notify you. They never place orders.
Journal
The journal brings your trades together with your notes and tags so you can review them. It reads trades from the accounts you choose (paper, backtest or a connected broker) and keeps your notes against each trade. Journal entries are stored with your TMR account, and you can delete them at any time.
