TMR Terminal
Terms of Use

TMR Terminal — The Market Revelation
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern how you use the services TMR Terminal gives access to: charts and market data, broker connections and order entry, paper and replay accounts, alerts, the journal, the script library and community features (the "Services"). They form part of the End User Licence Agreement ("EULA"), and words defined there have the same meaning here. Our general Terms and Conditions also apply to your TMR account and to any purchase.
1. Our role
TMR Terminal is software. The Market Revelation is not a stock broker, exchange, clearing member, depository participant, investment adviser, research analyst, portfolio manager, payment provider or crypto-asset exchange, and is not registered as any of these with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the Reserve Bank of India, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the Financial Conduct Authority or any other regulator. We do not accept, hold or transfer your money or assets, and we do not execute, clear or settle trades. Your broker does.
Nothing in the Services is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument, or advice about whether any investment or strategy suits you.
2. Connecting a broker
You may connect accounts you hold with supported brokers. When you do:
- you confirm the account is yours, or that you are authorised to operate it, and that connecting it to third-party software is allowed by the broker;
- you authorise us to send instructions to the broker on your behalf, using the access you grant, only when you give an instruction in the Software (for example, place, modify, cancel, protect or close an order);
- your relationship with the broker, including margin, fees, order handling, risk checks, settlement, account rules and disputes, is solely between you and the broker. The broker's records of your orders and positions prevail over anything the Software shows.
Depending on the broker, connection uses the broker's own sign-in page (OAuth), an API key, an application you register with the broker yourself, or a local connection to a platform running on your computer. Credentials we must keep are stored encrypted, are used only for your own account, and are never shown to or used for anyone else. Passwords, PINs and one-time codes that a broker requires only to sign in are used for that sign-in and not kept. You can disconnect a broker at any time; we then delete the stored access and, where the broker allows, revoke it. Disconnecting does not close positions or cancel orders at the broker.
3. Placing orders
You are responsible for every order sent from your account and for checking it before you send it.
- One click sends an order. By default the Software does not ask you to confirm orders, including on live accounts. You can switch on confirmations in settings. Features such as one-click trading boxes, hot keys, chart order lines, drag-to-modify and the quantity drum make it easy to send or change an order quickly, and equally easy to do so by mistake.
- Safety settings are aids, not guarantees. Features such as arming a live account, a maximum order size, account selection, and protective stop and target orders reduce some risks. They can fail, can be misconfigured, and do not replace the broker's own risk controls or your attention.
- What you see may not be the market. Prices, positions, balances, P&L and order states shown in the Software may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, especially when a connection is slow or interrupted. Always confirm at your broker.
- Orders can fail. An order may be rejected, delayed, partially filled, filled at a different price, duplicated or not sent at all, for reasons that include the broker, the exchange, your connection, your computer, our servers or market conditions. Keep another way to reach your broker, such as its own app or phone line, and use it if the Software is unavailable.
- Brackets and resting orders live at the broker. Once accepted, they remain there whether or not the Software is running.
4. Automation
Alerts in the Software notify you; they do not place orders. Pine scripts and strategies run in the Software for charting and backtesting; a strategy's simulated trades are not sent to any broker. The Software does not offer webhook trading or automatic execution of a strategy at a broker.
If you use the Software together with other automation, such as PropSyncer or NinjaTrader strategies, you are responsible for that automation and for its compliance with the rules that apply to it, including any requirement to register or approve an algorithm with your broker, an exchange or a regulator.
5. Trading Indian markets
If you connect an Indian broker or trade Indian markets:
- orders are sent through your broker's official interface, using your own credentials or the application you registered with the broker, and remain subject to the broker's and the exchange's checks, limits and order-rate rules;
- you are responsible for complying with SEBI and exchange rules that apply to you, including the framework for retail participation in algorithmic trading, and for not using the Software to run an automated or algorithmic strategy except as those rules permit;
- you must complete any authentication your broker requires (such as daily sign-in or two-factor authentication) yourself;
- residents of India must not use the Software to trade forex, CFDs or other products on platforms that are not authorised for Indian residents under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, including platforms named on the Reserve Bank of India's Alert List. Displaying such a market in the Software is not a statement that you may lawfully trade it;
- taxes, including income tax and any tax deducted at source on virtual digital assets, are your responsibility.
6. Prop firms
Prop firms set their own rules on platforms, automation, copy trading, news trading, hedging and account sharing, and change them often. You alone are responsible for confirming that your use of the Software is permitted by every firm you trade with. A firm may close an account or withhold a payout for a breach of its rules; we are not responsible for that.
7. Paper, replay and backtests
Paper accounts, replay sessions, backtests and strategy reports are simulations. They use historical or delayed data and simplified assumptions about fills, fees, slippage and liquidity, and they do not reflect the effect of real money, real emotion or real market impact. Simulated or hypothetical results have inherent limitations and are not indicative of future results. A paper account's balance has no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged.
8. Market data, news and other information
Market data, news, economic calendars, sentiment figures and other third-party content are provided as received from their sources, for your personal use, and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. How you may use them is set out in the Third-Party Services and Market Data Notice.
9. Journal, snapshots and sharing
The journal records your own trades and notes for your own review. When you create a chart snapshot or share link, anyone with the link can see it, so do not include account numbers or anything else you do not want others to see. Snapshots are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
10. Script library and community features
Publishing scripts, profiles, follows and other community features are governed by the Acceptable Use and Script Library Policy. Other users' scripts and content are not checked, approved or endorsed by us, and you use them at your own risk.
11. PropSyncer
If you use PropSyncer, the Software can show its state and, if you give it permission in PropSyncer, control it, for example by starting or stopping copying or flattening a group. Actions taken that way are your instructions, carried out by PropSyncer under the PropSyncer Licence Agreement.
12. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Services available but do not promise that they will be, and we may interrupt them for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis through the channels on our website. We do not monitor your account or positions, and we will not trade, close or manage positions for you.
13. Fees
If your licence carries a fee, it is the fee stated when the licence is granted or purchased, payable in advance and inclusive or exclusive of taxes as stated. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and by any rights the law gives you that cannot be excluded. Broker, exchange and data-vendor fees are charged by those parties and are your responsibility.
14. Suspension
We may suspend or limit your access to the Services, or to a particular feature or broker connection, at any time if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect you, other users, our systems, a third party or our compliance with law, or if you breach these Terms.
15. General
The provisions of the EULA on warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity, consumer rights, governing law, disputes and changes apply to these Terms. If these Terms and the EULA conflict, the EULA prevails.
