TMR Terminal

License Agreement

Last updated: 19 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-19.2

TMR Terminal — The Market Revelation

This End User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and The Market Revelation, based in India ("TMR", "we", "us", "our"). It governs TMR Terminal: the Windows desktop application, the trading workstation it opens, its updates, and the add-ons and helper programs it installs, such as the NinjaTrader add-on and its one-click setup (together, the "Software").

By downloading, installing, opening or using the Software you accept this Agreement, the TMR Terminal Terms of Use, the Acceptable Use and Script Library Policy and the Third-Party Services and Market Data Notice, and you confirm that you have read the Privacy Notice and the Risk Disclosure. If you are accepting for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. If you do not accept, do not install or use the Software.

1. Licence

Subject to this Agreement and to an active TMR Terminal licence, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and use the Software in object-code form on the number of computers ("seats") your licence covers, for your own trading, research and education. The Software is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted to you.

2. Who may use the Software

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and legally able to enter into a binding contract. You must not use the Software if the law of the place where you live or trade prohibits it, if you are named on a sanctions list, or if you are located in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions or embargoes.

3. Your account and licence

You need a TMR account and an active licence to use the Software. A licence may be granted to you as part of a membership, as a paid product, as a trial or at our discretion; its length, number of seats and any fee are those stated when it is granted. We may decline to grant or renew a licence.

Your account is for one person (or one business) only. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secret, for the security of the computers you use, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Seats, device recognition and licence checks

Each seat is bound to one computer. To enforce this, the Software recognises your computer by a device identifier derived on your computer from hashed hardware characteristics, and checks your licence with our servers when it starts and periodically while it runs. We receive the hashed identifier, never the underlying hardware values. The Privacy Notice describes exactly what is sent.

If your licence ends, is suspended or cannot be confirmed, the Software may stop opening the workstation. We may release a seat, suspend a licence or block a computer from using the Software, for example for non-payment, a breach of this Agreement, suspected account sharing, fraud, security reasons or at your request.

Licence events never cause the Software to close, cancel or change your positions or orders at a broker. Positions and orders that are already open at your broker stay there and remain your responsibility to manage, through the broker's own platform if necessary.

5. What the Software does, and what it does not do

The Software is a charting, analysis and order-entry tool. It displays market data, runs indicators and scripts, keeps journals and practice (paper and replay) accounts, and sends orders to brokers you connect, only when you instruct it to.

The Software does not give investment, financial, tax or legal advice, recommendations or trading signals, and it does not decide what, when or how much to trade. Indicators, scripts, alerts, backtests, strategy reports, community scripts and any other output are tools to help you make your own decisions. We are not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, research analyst, portfolio manager or algorithm provider, and we do not hold your money or securities.

6. Restrictions

You must not, and must not help or allow anyone else to:

  • copy, modify, translate, adapt or create derivative works of the Software, other than scripts and layouts you make with its normal features;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code of the Software, except to the extent the applicable law expressly allows this despite this restriction;
  • remove, bypass, disable or interfere with licensing, seat limits, device recognition, update verification, access controls or any other security feature, or make, share or use anything designed to do so;
  • share your account or licence, use one seat on more than one computer, or let anyone else use the Software under your licence;
  • rent, lease, lend, sell, resell, sublicense, distribute, host, frame or otherwise make the Software available to anyone else, or use it to provide a service to other people;
  • extract, scrape, store, redistribute or display market data obtained through the Software except as the Third-Party Services and Market Data Notice allows;
  • use the Software to place orders for anyone other than yourself, or to manage accounts that belong to other people, unless you are properly licensed or registered to do so where you are and the account holders have authorised it;
  • use the Software for market manipulation, spoofing, layering, wash trading, front-running or any other abusive or unlawful trading practice, or in breach of any broker's, exchange's, prop firm's or data provider's terms;
  • use the Software in any way that could damage, disable, overload or impair our services, or to attempt unauthorised access to any system or data.

7. Updates and changes

The Software updates itself. Each update is cryptographically signed by us and verified by the Software before it is installed. Some updates may be required to keep using the Software, and the workstation itself is delivered from our servers, so its features may change at any time without an installation on your side. We may add, change, limit or remove features, supported brokers, data sources and platforms, including where a third party changes or withdraws the access a feature relies on. This Agreement applies to every update.

8. Startup, background running and local components

By default the Software starts with Windows and keeps running in the system tray when its window is closed, so that alerts and notifications keep working. You can change this in the app's settings or in Windows. The Software runs local components on your computer, reachable only from your own computer, to deliver market data and to connect with other programs you choose to use with it, such as NinjaTrader or PropSyncer. Where the Software installs an add-on into another program, it asks you before doing so, and you are responsible for having the right to use that program.

9. Third-party software and services

The Software works with platforms we do not own or control, including brokers, exchanges, data vendors, NinjaTrader, PropSyncer and Discord. Your use of each is governed by its own terms, which you must follow. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or responsible for any of them. The Software also contains open-source components, which are licensed to you under their own licences; where those licences grant you rights that this Agreement would otherwise restrict, those licences prevail for those components.

10. Your content

Layouts, drawings, watchlists, alerts, journal entries, notes and scripts you create ("Your Content") remain yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the Software and the services you use, and, for anything you choose to publish to others, as described in the Acceptable Use and Script Library Policy. Much of Your Content is stored only on your computer; keep your own backups, because we cannot restore what we never held.

11. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

12. Intellectual property

The Software, including its code, interface, design, indicators, documentation, names and logos, belongs to The Market Revelation and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws in India and worldwide. "TMR", "The Market Revelation" and "TMR Terminal" are our marks. Third-party names and logos shown in the Software belong to their owners and are used only to identify their products.

13. Export control and sanctions

The Software may be subject to export control and sanctions laws, including those of India, the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union. You must not export, re-export or use the Software in breach of those laws.

14. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Software is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranties, conditions or representations of any kind, express, implied or statutory, including as to merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness, quiet enjoyment and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software, its market data or its order routing will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, accurate or error-free, or that it will work with any particular broker, exchange, platform, computer or network.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for any trading loss, lost profit or opportunity, slippage, missed, delayed, duplicated, rejected or erroneous order, inaccurate or delayed market data, loss of a prop firm account or payout, loss of data, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damage, however caused and even if we were told it was possible;
  • our total liability for all claims relating to the Software is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for your TMR Terminal licence in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) INR 5,000 (or its equivalent in your currency).

Nothing in this Agreement limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless The Market Revelation, its owners, employees and contractors from any claim, loss, liability, penalty or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of this Agreement, your breach of any law or of any third party's terms, Your Content, or your trading.

17. Consumer rights

If you use the Software as a consumer, you may have rights under the law of the country where you live (for example under India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the consumer laws of the European Union or the United Kingdom, or the Australian Consumer Law) that this Agreement cannot exclude or limit. Nothing in this Agreement affects those rights.

18. Term and termination

This Agreement applies from the moment you accept it until it is terminated. It ends automatically when your licence ends without renewal or if you breach it. We may suspend or terminate your licence and your access to the Software at any time if you breach this Agreement, if we are required to by law or by a third party whose service the Software relies on, or if we stop offering the Software, in which case we will give you reasonable notice where we can. You may stop using the Software at any time and uninstall it. On termination you must stop using the Software and remove it from your computers. Sections 6, 10 to 17 and 19 to 22 survive termination. Termination never causes the Software to close your positions.

19. Governing law and disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any formal proceedings, you agree to raise the dispute with us through the Grievance Redressal process and to give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Subject to that, the courts in India having jurisdiction over our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living outside India, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country.

20. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. The version and date at the top tell you which version applies. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the Software, by email or on our website before it takes effect, and we may ask you to accept the new version before you continue. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Software.

21. General

This Agreement, together with the documents it refers to, is the entire agreement between you and us about the Software and replaces any earlier agreement on that subject. Where this Agreement and our general Terms and Conditions conflict on the Software, this Agreement prevails. If any part of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. A failure or delay in enforcing any part is not a waiver. You may not transfer this Agreement without our written consent; we may transfer it to a successor of our business. If this Agreement is translated, the English version prevails.
