TMR Terminal — The Market Revelation

This policy covers what you may do in TMR Terminal and what you may publish to other users: scripts in the script library, script covers and descriptions, trader profiles, access requests, chart snapshots and anything else other people can see. It forms part of the TMR Terminal End User Licence Agreement.

1. Publishing scripts

You can keep a script private, publish it publicly, or make it invite-only, so that only people you grant access to (for a period you choose, or through a product they bought from us) can use it. When you publish:

  • You keep ownership. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, run and distribute the script, its cover and description to the users who can access it, for as long as it is published, and to show it in the library and in our own promotion of the library. You also give each user who can access it a licence to use it in TMR Terminal for their own trading.
  • Hidden source is not secret. If you publish with the source hidden, others cannot read it in the editor, but the script still has to run on their computers, so a determined person may be able to reconstruct its logic. Do not publish anything you need to keep confidential.
  • You must have the rights. Only publish code you wrote or are licensed to publish. Respect the licence of any code you base it on, keep its notices, and credit the author where the licence requires. Porting another author's script without permission is not allowed.
  • Describe it honestly. Do not claim or imply guaranteed returns, win rates or profits, do not present backtests as live results, and do not describe a script as a signal service, a recommendation or investment advice.
  • No selling outside TMR. Do not use the library to sell access, take payment or collect contact details outside the features we provide.

We may review, hide, feature, remove or restore any published script, change how it is shown in the library, or revoke access to it, at our discretion, including after a complaint. We do not check, test or endorse scripts published by users, and we are not responsible for how they behave.

2. Content you must not publish

Do not publish, share or link anything that:

  • infringes anyone's copyright, trade mark, patent or other rights, or discloses a trade secret;
  • is false or misleading about trading, investments, returns or any person, or promotes a scheme that promises returns, a pump, or the sale of "tips";
  • gives personalised investment advice or research recommendations, where you are not registered to do so;
  • is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another person's privacy (including their bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, or encourages money laundering, gambling or violence;
  • is harmful to children, or impersonates another person or organisation;
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states or public order, or incites the commission of any offence;
  • contains malware, code that collects other users' data, or code designed to interfere with the Software or anyone's computer, account or trading;
  • includes another person's personal data, or your own account numbers, credentials or keys;
  • breaks any law that applies to you or to us.

3. Conduct

Do not harass, threaten or spam other users; manipulate stars, boosts, follows, use counts or rankings; create accounts to get around a block; or use the Software to coordinate market manipulation or any other unlawful trading.

4. Reporting content and copyright complaints

To report content that breaks this policy or infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the subject "Content report", or open a ticket in our Discord server. Include a link to the content, what is wrong with it, and, for an infringement claim, the work you own, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised and that your complaint is accurate. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and act on them within the time the law requires, normally within 15 days, and faster where Indian law requires us to (for example, within 24 hours for content that exposes a person's private areas or is an impersonation in electronic form). We may ask the publisher to respond, and may restore content that we find was removed by mistake.

5. Consequences

If you break this policy we may remove content, restrict features, suspend or end your licence, block your account or computer, and, where required, report the matter to the authorities. We may keep records of removed content and of the reasons for as long as the law requires.

6. Grievances and appeals

If you disagree with a decision we took about your content or account, you can raise it with our Grievance Officer under our Grievance Redressal policy. Users in India may also appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee constituted under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
